Steven Ganz
An industry veteran, Steven Ganz has been representing buyers, sellers and developers of luxury residential real estate in New York City since 1998. Having spent eight years as part of the top downtown brokerage team at Douglas Elliman, Steven left in 2005 to become a founding member of CORE Group Marketing and in 2009 partnered with Jonathan Isaacs to help start what is now Reserve. Steven maintains long-term relationships with his clients, who often buy and sell multiple properties through him. With more than $1,000,000,000 in residential and new development sales, Steven also has extensive experience in branding and marketing new development properties, having had an instrumental role in some of New York City’s most successful projects. Additionally, in 2006, Mr. Ganz brokered record setting sales of the most expensive townhouse ever sold below 34th Street and the most expensive townhouse ever sold east of Gramercy Park.
Steven holds a Chemistry AB from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and won the UNC-Chapel Hill book award for third level organic chemistry in 1990. A former professional jazz saxophonist, Steven also holds a BFA in Jazz Performance from New School Jazz and Contemporary Music program. Steven placed high in the 1996 Thelonius Monk Institute saxophone competition, was the New School’s youngest professor in the early 1990’s, and played lead tenor in Charli Persip’s Supersound band from 1992 to 1999. He released a quartet recording entitled “First Steps” with his brother, Keith, in 1999, to very positive reviews and extensive radio airplay. In addition to playing jazz, Steven loves swimming, boxing, and reading. Steven, his wife, and two young sons, live near Lincoln Center and enjoy traveling internationally whenever they can.
